The control core of Ackerwell high voltage soft start cabinet MT800 series is microprocessor CPU; microprocessor performs phase-shift trigger control on thyristor to reduce voltage applied to motor, and then smoothly increases motor torque by controlling voltage and current applied to motor until motor accelerates to full speed operation. This starting mode can reduce starting impulse current of motor, reduce impact on power grid and motor itself, and reduce mechanical impact on mechanical load device connected to motor, so as to prolong service life of equipment. Reduce fault and downtime detection time and improve work efficiency. When the motor reaches full speed operation, the motor current drops to the current value of normal full speed operation, and the soft starter controls the bypass output relay to close the bypass high voltage vacuum contactor.
